Zanzabar Night Club

When you first walk into the nightclub the atmosphere is high class. This is a nightclub where you can have a great timeit is very spacious to have conversations and dance the night away. There is a dress attire which I believe gives this club a respectable feature. The location of this nightclub is in the heart of Waikiki. This club has been around since the late 1980s and is still standing. I would recommend this nightclub for a great girls night out!!

Not that I do the club scene very much anymore, but the last time I went to Z-bar it was a little disappointing. Let's just say the level of the crowd was not what it was in year's past. Could have been just an off night, but I'd rather hit a smaller place with better service.

Went on a Sunday night, in June. It was 18 and over. Predominantly asian crowd and what seemed like a summer high school senior crowd. The place wasn't empty, but had 2 large bars, a big dance floors and lots of seating. The DJ was good mixing up a wide variety of hip hop songs with some rock, too. Drinks weren't too outrageous. There was a $10 cover charge and they did let us back in after leaving for an hour or two. Dress code is non-sandal, no t shirt kind of place, but we got in with tennis shoes, jeans and collored shirts, so not too strict on the dress code. Might want to check it out on a different night though.

Zanzabar was the "in" place to be until they started advertising to the military crowd. It is probably one of the most classy clubs on the island. T more...
