Not the hopping club it used to be
The thing about being a club is that it's hard to be on top for a long time. Pipeline had its heyday as recently as a couple of years ago. It's slowed down quite a bit, but it still hosts many a great concert as it's the only decent venue for shows of 1,000 to 1,500 people.
